★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be sure to visit the shop at the back of the monastery since the man there is friendly and cab inform you about the actual openingtimes of the monastery. Sometimes there are special holy days ore celebrating and it will be closed. The monastery is part of the Patriarchal authority in constantinople so that's why it's different then other churches in thessaloniki.
