★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple, elegant and peaceful surroundings with rich history and culture on sight, under the leadership of the charismatic priest Polikarpos and his crew, who utilize the humble beautiful garden and who make the liturgy and post gathering a beautiful spiritual experience. Great to visit as a tourist too, especially since the recent addition next to the monastery of a rich and gorgeous display of ornaments and gifts.
