Unfortunately, although it is in an incredible location, with a beautiful view, it has not been properly used as an archeological site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ελάχιστα πραγματα υπαρχουν για να δεις. Μονο τα απομεινάρια του τειχους. Καλη θεα προς τη πόλη και τη θαλασσα. Δεν υπαρχει καλη σημανση για να πάει κάποιος ως εκεί. Ακολουθειστε τον στενο δρόμο απεναντι απο τη σταση του λεωφορειου στον κεντρικό δρομο.
There are few things to see. Only the remnants of the wall. Good view of the city and the sea. There is no good sign for someone to get there. Follow the narrow road opposite the bus stop to the main road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία με ωραία θέα αλλά... Χωρίς κάστρο.
Υπάρχουν κάποια υπολείμματα οχύρωσης του λόφου και ένας θρύλος για υπόγειες στοές που ενώνουν το κάστρο με την γειτονική Ιστιαία αλλά ως εκεί. Μάλιστα, κάποιος από τους χωρικούς καλλιεργεί τον λόφο, οπότε μάλλον δεν θα μπορούσατε να ανεβείτε εύκολα πριν τον θερισμό.
Very good location with nice views but ... No castle.
There are some remnants of fortifications on the hill and a legend for underground galleries that connect the castle with neighboring Istiaia but as far as. In fact, one of the villagers cultivates the hill, so you probably could not climb easily before the harvest.
