This is the birth place of Prince Philip. Just a lovely villa once belonging to the Greek royal family.

A very interesting insight to the birth place of Prince Philip, the house itself is now a museum,it cost 4 euros to enter, the grounds are lovely to walk around with various sights of interest including the ruins of a Doric Temple.

This place is definitely worth a visit however, I’m rating with 3 stars because of its appearance. The Mon Repos area is a huge park full of nature and old history, however, it doesn’t seem like anybody pays attention in keeping this place tidy, well reconstructed or visually appealing. When I compare my last visit with a visit that was 2 years ago here, not much has changed, moreover, there apparently some reconstruction works begin and they are not finished. Reconstruction material and banners are all over the place for weeks and nobody did anything to proceed. It looks ugly and not representative, stating that Mon Repos is one of the “must see” places in Corfu … It is worth a visit but it definitely is not a “wow” place of Corfu anymore…

Nice place to stop in, with some historical context of the island and some artifacts found in the area. There was once a pretty sizable Doric temple on the estate grounds.

The place is pretty run down. Only claim to fame it's Prince Philip's birthplace. The museum is nothing to talk about.

NCL guided bus tour. Great time visiting and exploring the Palace. Lots of historical facts provided. Beautiful place and area surrounding it.

If you are passing drop by. The house is an empty shell with no reference to Prince Philip beyond a plaque on the gate post. 4€ entry and that’s about all it’s worth. A chapel in the grounds which is supposedly one of the most important religious sites in Greece. It’s just about standing and locked up.
