Horseland Kavos - Kavou

We enjoyed the trip to the Monastery very much. The views were beautiful. We went in the evening and the light was amazing.The horses were well behaved and the owners friendly. Also good for first time riders.

Me and my husband booked a morning ride with Horseland and chose the Monestry trek, it was amazing, so peaceful away from the madness of Kavos town, the family were lovely and loved their horses , they were cared for really well. Their young son was very knowledgeable and entertaining on the ride with us, telling us all about the horses and the Monestry. We felt very safe and it was well worth booking with this lovely family. Will definitely go again.

Wow! Very nice family. Great and well-groomed horses. Great price-performance ratio. The tour has beautiful viewpoints and it is pleasantly cool in the forest. Really to be recommended! We had no riding experience and everything worked out great. Thanks! ????

WooooW WooooW WooooooW ....... is all I can say, this experience exceeded mine and my families expectations. Horseland is a family run business and the family were so warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. The horses are well looked after, and are extremely well behaved and ambience. The views on the route are truly breathtaking and some of the best in Kavos. If we ever come back to Kavos, we will definitely be coming back here.

Pros: It is a family business and everyone was very nice. There were only the two of us and no other tourists/customers. So no huge groups of people. Cons: Unfortunetly we expected the horse riding to be completely different than what it was. We've done horse riding many times before and usually it is us on the horses and the owner on another horse and we just ride indepently and follow the owner. However here the horses were led the complete route by the owners walking next to the horses, which made us feel like children sitting on a horse. The owners walked next to the horses the whole 1.5 hours walk to the monastery and when we arrived at the monastery (very small ruins of monastery, not impressing at all), we could only take a quick picture before walking back. If this is your first time on a horse and you just want to try it (or for kids) then this is perfect. But we were a bit disappointed with this experience. I wish there was a better description on their website/flyers of what to expect.

Amazing experience, recommend to anyone. Very warm, welcoming lovely family. As a first time rider they made me feel so at ease and safe! They take amazing care of the horses also! Amazing family, must do if in Kavos

A small stable ran by the owners, a very nice family that takes really good care of the well-being of their horses and the safety of the tourists. Highly recommended experience to enjoy a different perspective of the island while supporting a sustainable venture ???
