★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Hotel Giota was a lovely quiet place to stay. Many guests were families and couples alike. Staff were accommodating at all times. Rooms weren’t cleaned as often as usual, due to COVID 19. I would have thought it was more reason to clean regularly. Especially, when guests were out. Had to request for room to be cleaned.. Negative: The only thing I didn’t like, was the mattress on the double bed, it was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on, so hard..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: the location was excellent, in front of the seaside and the main square of Methoni.It looked very clean. Negative: Our reservation included breakfast, which was NOT actually provided, apparently due to "COVID restrictions". I don't understand why there couldn't be a way to provide us with breakfast or else, reduce the price of the room. No sound proofing because the hotel was old, every morning we were awaken by the cleaning service in the adjuscent rooms. Suprisingly the sound from the nearby taverns was not so evident. All in all, you get what you pay for, it was a basic hotel room, in great location and it was very clean..
