M	Michel van der Kroef on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long waiting to order, to get your food and even to pay you have to wait 20 min. The food was below average, mostly deep fried. The ordered dishes came in intervals of 10 to 15 minutes. Only one waitress had to handled all the tables and the “boss” was sitting in front of the building chatting. When asking him for knifes, we only got forks?, it took him a long time to get 2 knifes instead of 4? It’s was a bad luck we missed the other reviews in advance of our visit. So be warned.
P	Pierros Zevolis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty nice, casual traditional Greek tavern at the central square of Methoni village. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, tasty homemade dishes, starters, as well as drinks are served. Friendly and polite owners, reasonable prices.

We ordered zucchini fritters, which were fried straight from the freezed dough and when they were served to us, they were fried on the outside and frosted like stone on the inside. So frosted, we couldn't cut them open with fork & knife. Also, fried squid portion was in the average price (7euros) but the portion was way smaller. Plus, we took a small plate with different kinds of grilled meat, the quality of which was bellow ,average in terms of taste. The starters were decent (cheesepies with honey & horiatiki salad) Service was polite and professional but the food is very poorly made. Unfortunately it was not a good choice for me and my friends.

m	mo Westein on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pork was ok. Big fish platter was only (a lot of) sardines with some fried octopus (15,-). Cheese pies with honey and sesame came without the honey and sesame, had to ask for it. Waiter's English is ok. Nice terrace.

I returned the next day to get takeaway souvlaki skewers, which were very very very good, 5*. Has the ownership changed? Μήπως άλλαξε ο ιδιοκτήτης; το φαΐ οκ τώρα..
I	Ian van de Roer (i2005Geingunner) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the reviews here are not honest at all. The staff work very hard and we always got tasty food. I recommend this tavern if you are new to Greece and want to meet new people!
