★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please avoid and do not waste your money - lack of client centricity and clearly not the same standards as some of their neighbouring competitors who offers equally good locations but with a much more pleasant and welcoming attitude towards tourists / foreigners. The owner is the most unpleasant man in Kalyves and clearly has an issue with tourists in general : he probably perceives us as nice "cash cows" but would openly insult us in Greek behind our back (as reported by a local friend)... a grumpy and sad man whose negativity is not worth your time in this magnificent place...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by all means not a luxuary hotel. But the fact that it has everything one needs, and is situated 20 meters from the beach, with private, free sun beds, and that the owner / staff goes out of the way to help you makes it a five Star experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at the thamirakis studios, sister hotel to the hotel thamiris. Nice location and rooms. However never during 30 years of travelling to Greece met a stranger owner. When we complained about a broken toilet that did not flush he repeatedly threatened to call the police when we refused to cover the expenses for fixing it. It was not possible to flush the toilet, something that we pointed out immediately after arriving. Instead of just fixing the problem he repeteadly accused us of breaking it and was altogether the rudest and most unpleasant man I have encountered during 30 years of travel.
Our travel agent Apollo did a splendid job in moving us out of the place and finding us another place to stay.
