I found this I Treis Mountries was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. And we are very satisfied. Please try the stuffed vine leaves w / meat and the stuffed pumpkin blossoms. We had the lamb stew w veggies and we were not disappointed. Maria is fabulous and is there for you. Thank you very much!

The husband had chicken and rice and raved about it. Try the house red wine-you will not be disappointed. Many thanks for a full belly and happy heart.

She wanted a fireplace and some traditional Crete food. We had passed by this restaurant a million times before, but not on this day. And what an awesome surprise to stumble across one of the island's absolute best traditional Cretan taverns. Giorgos and his staff were amazing, but not nearly as wonderful as his grandmother in the kitchen. We've dined at hundreds of restaurants over the years, but this cuttlefish recipe, the sauce.... Well, Gordon Ramsay was not wrong when he called Greek cuisine the best in the world. Dine at this family owned, famous, and wonderful restaurant when you are in Heraklion. You will not be disappointed.
M	Mirni Toldy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom and I had stuffed cabbages (really really yummy), Fried Cod (very salty and tough, so much so that I thought it was dried cod that had been dehydrated) and Shrimps in oil and lemon sauce ( shrimps were tough and I didn’t see any sauce). The server was nice and it’s located next to the airport so it’s convenient. Honestly, unless you are pressed for time, I’d say skip this one. You can get better food a few minutes away.

We wanted something good and our Airbnb host told us about this family restaurant which serves typical Greek cuisine. All that is on the menu is not available all the time, depending on the time of the year. The bread was fabulous, the boiled greens had lots of taste and I enjoyed the grilled lamb fully. Desert and Raki was offered by the house. We really enjoyed that place !
