★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've ordered sturgeon and trout, but despite the best ingredients (fish is farmed locally), the meal was a disappointment. Both fish were overcooked, with trout being close to a complete cremation. What came on the plate next to the fish, did not match at all. The waiter explained afterwards that the greek want their fish 'well done', but did not ask anything while ordering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food! Good cooks, friendly people! And all this for a reasonable to low price. Where can you eat a main dish for €6 to €8? The fish is as fresh as can be because it used to swims next to your table. Votomos Taverna the place to be in Zaros at Crete.
