★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AGION OROS IS A HOLY PLACE , TO PERIVOLI TIS PANAGIAS. I WAS SO LUCKY AND BLESSED TO BE THERE AMONG HOLY MONKS. MONH AGIOU DIONYSIOU, WAS SO NICE AND RELAXED THERE AND I CANT FORGET 2 HOLY MONKS PATERA PAVLO AND PATERA XARITON .MANY THANKS TO ALL MONKS. IT WAS AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE AND I WANT TO GO BACK IN THE FUTURE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I´ve made only a short visit to Dionysiou. We were staying for the night at Pavlou and it is only a hike of an hour a long the coast line with beautiful views. It the monastry eveything is very old but in excellent shape. I met a lot o very friendly people. Wnat to share some of my pix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the west side of the Peninsula the monastery seats just above the sea. If you manage to convince the monks to visit the rooms with the relics, you will see an incredible collection of exhibits. Totally worth it. Enjoy the sunset at the veranda of the Monastery. Simply breathtaking
