★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nemam sta da kazem osim da je mjesto prelijepo i da bi svi ga tredali posjetiti ako mozete i ne samo to nego i cjelu grcku i sva njena ostrva i crkve u njoj je sve predivno i stvarno nemam rijeci za sve ovo.i jos samo nesto da dodam da su u grckoj plaze i mora predivni i da trebate ih posjetiti.
I have nothing to say except that the place is beautiful and that everyone should visit it if you can and not only that but the whole of Greece and all its islands and churches in it everything is beautiful and I really have no words for all this.and just something else to I add that the greek beaches and sea are beautiful and you should visit them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ συμπαθητικό μοναστήρι, έχει την θαυματουργη εικόνα της μεταμορφωσεως του Σωτηρος, υπάρχει έκθεση για αγορά προϊόντων τα οποία φτιάχνονται αποκλειστικά από τις μοναχες και τις πρώτες ύλες που οι ίδιες παράγουν.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σε ένα πανέμορφο καταπράσινο μέρος στην ορεινή περιοχή του Δήμου Νέστου λίγο μετά το Μακρυχώρι έχει χτιστεί η Ιερά Γυναικεία Μονή που είναι αφιερωμένη στην Μεταμόρφωση του Σωτήρος. Πρόκειται για ένα άρτια οργανωμένο γυναικείο μοναστήρι με αρκετά κτίσματα που έχουν όμορφα χρώματα και δένουν αρμονικά με το περιβάλλον. Η πέτρα τα δέντρα και τα πολύχρωμα ευωδιαστά λουλούδια κυριαρχούν στον χώρο. Ησυχία, κατάνυξη και πνευματικότητα είναι καταστάσεις που μπορεί κάποιος να βιώσει σε αυτό το μοναδικό περιβάλλον. Οι μοναχές φιλόξενες και εγκάρδιες ψάλλουν και διακονούν με περισσή εν Χριστό Αγάπη. Στην εορτή της Μεταμόρφωσης του Σωτήρος που είναι στις 6 Αυγούστου συρρέουν πλήθος πιστοί για να προσκυνήσουν την θαυματουργή εικόνα που βρίσκεται εκεί. Αξίζει να παραστεί κάποιος στις λατρευτικές εκδηλώσεις που λαμβάνουν χώρα εκείνες τις ημέρες και να ζήσει αυτό το θαυμαστό γεγονός από κοντά !
