★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa del Monastero di San Gerasimo, patrono dell'isola di Cefalonia.
La chiesa, ben visibile al bordo della strada che valica le alture dell'isola congiungendo la costa occidentale a quella orientale, appare di buone dimensioni esterne e di recente ristrutturazione, quasi moderna. Appena entrati, invece, si scoprono la ricchezza delle decorazioni, le pareti ed i soffitti affrescati, le notevoli dorature. Merita certamente di essere visitata.
Church of the Monastery of San Gerasimo, patron saint of the island of Kefalonia.
The church, clearly visible at the edge of the road that crosses the heights of the island, joining the west coast to the east, appears to be of good external dimensions and has recently been renovated, almost modern. As soon as you enter, however, you will discover the richness of the decorations, the frescoed walls and ceilings, the remarkable gilding. It certainly deserves to be visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Nonnenkloster mit 2 wunderschönen Kirchen. Eine kleine alte mit einem Sakrobarg eines Heiligen und eine große, innen sehr schön mit Ikonen und Bildern von Heiligen bemalte neue. Leider mit Reisegruppe besucht daher keine Zeit gehabt diesen wundervollen Ort zu genießen.
