Ο Ναός βρίσκεται λίγα μόλις μέτρα από την πλατεία του χωριού και σε συνεννόηση με τον Εφημέριο Πατέρα Κωνσταντίνο μπορεί να ανοίξει για προσκύνημα αφού εκεί φυλάσσονται τμήματα των λειψάνων του Οσίου Θωμά του Εν Μαλεώ αλλά και του Αγίου Τρύφωνα Σύμφωνα με το βιβλίο που καταγράφει το ιστορικό θεμελίωσης και αποπεράτωσης του Ενοριακού Ιερού Ναού Παναγίας Μυρτιδιωτίσσης και τον κύριο συγγραφέα του τον τότε εφημέριο πατέρα Παναγιώτη Μιχαηλίδη ο ναός θεμελιώθει κατά το έτος 1915. The Church of Our Lady of Myrtidiotissa Pathechos and protector of all Velanidians, a Byzantine temple temple stuck in the rock from which it was constructed, celebrates on September 24th.
