★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Με την ίδρυση της Κίνησης Γυναικών Βελανιδίων και την παραχώρηση της χρήσης του δημοτικού σχολείου από τον Δήμο έλαβε σάρκα και οστά η συγκέντρωση και η έκθεση πολύτιμου λαογραφικού υλικού, το οποίο προέρχεται κυρίως από το ίδιο το χωριό. Η συλλογή αποτελεί αποκλειστικά δική τους πρωτοβουλία και στόχος είναι να διαφυλάξει, να συντηρήσει και να προβάλει οτιδήποτε έχει σχέση με την Παραδοσιακή ζωή και το Λαϊκό Πολιτισμό. Η Λαογραφική έκθεση εμπλουτίζεται συνεχώς με αντικείμενα τα οποία οι κάτοικοι του χωριού προσφέρουν, ανταποκρινόμενοι στην προτροπή της κίνησης γυναικών να συνδράμουν μια προσπάθεια η οποία ευελπιστεί να παραδώσει στις επόμενες γενεές όσα οι προηγούμενοι κληροδότησαν. Εδώ η πολιτισμική σημασία του τόπου συνοδεύει το αντικείμενο, οπότε τα εθνογραφικά δεδομένα , που προκύπτουν, καταγράφουν με ορθό τρόπο το ιστορικό και κοινωνικό γίγνεσθαι. Είναι προφανές ότι η Λαογραφική Έκθεση δεν αποτελεί ένα απλό, με την τυπική έννοια του όρου, μουσειακό χώρο. Είναι ένας τόπος ενεργούς Λαογραφίας και της εν των ένδον γνώσεως της φυσιογνωμίας και των δρώμενων ενός παραδοσιακού χωριού.
Η συλλογή θα είναι επισκέψιμη από το κοινό κάθε Σαββάτο απόγευμα 15:30 - 18:30 όπως επίσης και κατόπιν επικοινωνίας με τις κυρίες της Κίνησης Γυναικών
The founding and exhibition of valuable folklore material originated mainly from the village itself, with the founding of the Women Acorn Movement and the granting of the use of the elementary school by the Municipality. The collection is solely their own initiative and aims to preserve, preserve and promote everything that has to do with Traditional Life and Folk Culture. The Folklore Exhibition is constantly enriched with objects offered by the villagers, in response to the urging of the women's movement to contribute to an effort that it hopes to deliver to future generations of what the ancients had inherited. Here the cultural significance of the place accompanies the object, so the resulting ethnographic data accurately records the historical and social occurrence. It is obvious that the Folklore Exhibition is not a mere, in the formal sense, a museum space. It is a place of active folklore and of the in-depth knowledge of physiognomy and events of a traditional village.
The collection will be open to the public every Saturday afternoon from 15:30 to 18:30 as well as by contacting the ladies of the Women's Movement
