★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable, after a hole meal (main dish, two beers and ice cream, total bill € 16,60) they ask me "did you have the bread?", I had one single slice so they made me pay €17. After one month walking all across Crete where they use to offer you a sweet and a raki after the meal... This is the result of tourism.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very nice tavern with shadow from the tamarisk trees. fast and very friendly service from the staff. good coffee and snacks - just great. highly recommended. last but not least: a perfect beach with umbrellas and sunbeds.

The prices are really low, lots of things to eat/drink and a friendly staff.
Nice relaxed space, with an amazing beach just if front of you. There is plenty of free parking space near the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Small portions & Way too expensive for a taverna (“tourist trap”) in comparison with all the other places in/around paleochora. Locals for sure pay less than tourists, prime example of greedy tourism. The staff was also rude (apart from the charming young man serving the tables outside). You also get charged for the bread without letting you know in advance…also, the prices for the beach umbrellas are much more expensive for tourists than for locals…even though a beautiful beach, Unfortunately not recommendable and we will not come back here. Too many other lovely places to eat & beaches around paleochora with much better prices, friendly staff and the lovely Greek hospitality.
