★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been coming to Plaka for years and this is a new business this year. I'm afraid we were not overly impressed.
☆On the good side they have retained the sun lounges for patrons, which the previous business had.
☆There are also varied seating options in the shade.
Unfortunately there is currently way too many poor to bad points.
☆Service, miserable looking staff who seem to find it hard to smile.
☆If you've sat at a table, staff should automatically bring a menu and not ask "do you want a menu?".
☆Staff should bring your drink before or with ordered food. Twice drinks after we'd eaten.
☆Toilets are toilets for customers not changing rooms. Twice we saw men go in with clothing under their arms and come out wearing it. Yet the owner/manager who was at the front of the bar said nothing.
☆They need to keep menus inside the roofed area, a stone on them is not enough, one stone with menu flew off a raised table and just missed me. Most people know Plaka can be very windy.
☆Tables, upright central stone plinth, if you're of medium/tall in height this stops you getting close to the table when eating food .

I asked specifically when a sun bed becomes available let me know he said yes sure. Cause I’m on my own they see that as I would spend less money on the day ! Besides 2 or 4 sitting . Not my fault my friends work.
So when I overhear someone that has walked in yeah sure next available is yours just for the tourist dollars I won’t go there again.
I did hear the head staff person say “ I sit who I want there” . Good luck .
FYI don’t order the yogurt it’s hardly any yogurt just topped with fruit. If a cafe doesn’t have enough of the product don’t sell it with less. Annoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful and attractive place. The view is amazing and the beach is very approachable, clean and without sea weeds. The staff was quick and efficient and the food was great. The cocktails are top. When we had a problem with our trip, the blonde waitress, called Elena I believe assisted us and she was more than usefull that we could imagine. Looking forward for its reponening at Easter time. 10/10
