Jasmine Villas - Troulos

When we first arrived at this place we were really excited but unfortunately it was not the 'once in a lifetime' stay we had hoped for. We had read that it would be a quiet and secluded spot where parties were not allowed (as per advertisement). During our stay our neighbours in the next villa had pool parties at 4am and would regularly take over the air space in the morning and evenings. It has been our first holiday since COVID and at times it was, sadly, really uncomfortable. It's great when people can let their hair down and enjoy themselves with music etc. but the people in the next villa had brought a pretty powerful sound system and had a regular turnover of people that they were hosting which, of course, made us feel uneasy, particularly as we had young children We would try to sit outside to play cards in the evening only for music to start at 8/9pm onwards which was so loud we would stop and go to bed early. One night we decided to watch a movie indoors but could still hear the music At night there were also people oddly walking around with headtorches and cars/quads were up and down the drive, which was unsettling. God only knows what they were doing, but I could hazard a guess... the owners did apparently message them to turn the music down but it didn't last, the owners advised us to call the police but our neighbours didn't look/act like the kind of people you would call the police on.. (who wants to do that when you're on "holiday" too?) I have stayed at plenty of accommodations over the years but this one was the most uncomfortable I have stayed in so far. If we did not have other family with us we would have checked-out early and moved into new accommodation. We since messaged the owners but they ignored us... Anna (house keeper) and Nikos (caretaker) were absolutely lovely
