One of the most scenic hotels I have visited. Staff are great (but could do with a few more at meal times May 2022) and everyone was very friendly. The hotel beach was our favourite, small and relaxed, Koukounaries is stunning but a bit busy for a chilling couple. All the beaches at Ski Palace end are great, Maratha Beach is quiet but perfect for those wanting a quiet time (bar but no toilets, hotel 2mins away) we got a quad bike from the hotel (€35) and did a lap of the whole island (recommended) loved the isolated beaches we found. Would definitely return again, maybe B&B next time as food ok but plenty of resturants nearby and loads of stunning ones in Skiathos Town (€2 on bus each way) but Koukounaries is the prettier location by far, D&L May 2022 x.

Fantastic views from room, area very beautiful. Rooms need to be improved, rock hard beds, no hairdryer or tea ,coffee marking equipment in room, which for a 4 star hotel ?, some staff could not do enough for you & very cheerful, but some very rude & miserable, would not let this spoil my hoilday. Area not suitable for people with disabilities as alot of steps, no lift in hotel, alot of hills around and alot of uneven walkways. One staff member who I will not forget was vasso ,very chatty & cheerful Breakfast at hotel was good, lots of different items, had a lovely meal in the restaurant one night , very tasty & good value for money.

Gorgeous views, super friendly staff and lovely hotel. My only gripes are the steps and hill to the hotel! Nor great for those who cannot walk properly or may have a pram for children, but its handy to know there's a shuttle bus every 30 mins to and from the beach, bus stops and even taxis. And my other gripe is the beds, me and my partner have 2 singles pushed together, can't cuddle on an nighttime and the bedding isn't very smooth either. I got really badly sunburnt on my first day and I struggled to sleep with scratchy bedding and 1 super soft pillow that has no neck support. 10000% will come here again though, I love everything else. The food is insane and the view is stunning.

Accommodation ok. Access to beach and town not user friendly. Staff are very curious. Especially Jason AKA George.... Food service needs to improve. A couple of hot drink dispensers, to allow self service would relax the pressure on Staff. Food in general was good, however we found it salty and repetitive. When we return to Skiathos we will be looking to book alternative apartment style accommodation. Many thanks Sean Ellis

We booked 10 nights in Skiathos to visit family and have a break after the pandemic. Some rooms can be quite basic with no Kettle for tea/coffee. The main hotel and pool area is Beautiful with lovely views over koukinaires beach. The breakfast and main food is great. Its at bus stop no22 so quite far from main town. Busses run every 30 mins. And are cheap. Some lovely beaches are friendly people. Overall lovely time.

This is a really unique hotel. Stunning location and views. The hotel was built in the late 1960s/early 1970s and there are lots of architectural and design features remaining from that era which lend the place some real style, although it’s clearly been upgraded and refurbished over the years. We stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms (perhaps they have now all been refurbished?) and it was fine - extremely comfortable bed and all the essentials that you might need. My only criticism would be regarding the buffet restaurant - at times it felt a little chaotic at the busiest times and it could be difficult to find a clean table and attract a waiter’s attention to order drinks. This could be solved by having a Maitre d’ to greet people and help coordinate the waiting staff to clear a table and take the drinks order. The food at breakfast was lovely. The buffet dinner was fine for the most part. Restaurant issues aside, still worth a 5-star review from me - I wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another visit!

Visited here for the first time with my sister on 1st May. Peaceful, less busy, weather improved over the week. We arrived after 10pm (delayed flight) and they made us welcome and kindly kept the restaurant open for us. During my stay, I found the staff were hardworking, attentive, very friendly and helpful. All spoke English, some fluently.Great service in the restaurant from Jason and all the team. Friendliness and humour meant I really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful views, good food, buffet style, rooms cleaned daily, instant hot shower. Sheltered beach close by with clean, golden sand. The hotel has many steps due to its hillside location, so not best suited to people with mobility problems. I could happily have stayed longer, and will visit again.
