β β β β β Positive: From the moment we arrived we were made feel most welcome. Its a family run business and they made us feel like we were on holidays visiting old friends. Gerry was always there to greet us after a day out and have a chat and a joke. Nothing was too much trouble, anything we needed attended to immediately. Facilities were great, really nice pool, great restaurant with home cooked food, with great local wine selection, breakfast was also really nice and cooked fresh for us each morning. Nice local beer always on tap ( especially when we got back in the evenings ?) Always a good atmosphere during the day around the pool and in the restaurant in the evenings. Room was spotless clean and also quiet a big apartment, much better than we expected. Location was perfect, lovely quiet area, 5 min walk to the beach, nearby bus stop if you are going to Chania and taxi cost β¬8 or β¬9 to the city centre, couldn't ask for more. The Jechrina, really made it a great holiday for us and when we go back to Crete we will definitely book here again. To anyone looking to stay here, I guarantee you will have the most enjoyable time, really couldn't recommend it more.. Negative: Honestly can't fault it in any way..

β β β β β This is a very good find .... it is close to Platania and Agia Marina and yet far enough to be away from the crowds. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bathroom was large and clean and the shower was great. The rooms have a small terrace. There is a breakfast option if you want. The hotel has a nice sized pool and lounging area. The family that owns and runs the hotel is very friendly and accomodating.

β β β β β Positive: The pool is always so clean & immaculate! The on-site Piato Restaurant is open throughout the day for snacks or a full meal. Mama's traditional cooking is superb, all very well served & presented by Jerry.. Negative: There is a little traffic noise due to the location, but we enjoy the convenience of the shops & bars on the high street & public transport into Chania. Also Jechrina is only minutes from 3 lovely beaches!.

β β β β β Positive: Staff were fantastic. Jerry and Mama, his mum, are great! Food at the restaurant was delicious! Bed was big and comfortable. Room and balcony were spacious. Easy bus access to/from Chania (Bus 21 and 15). I'd definitely stay here again!. Negative: Kitchenette hob was slow, it took forever to cook. It had the basics but lacked on essentials such as a kitchen towel and salt..

β β β β β Positive: We had an excellent stay at Jechrina. The family that own it were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble & service was first class. Special mention for Gerry & his mojitos! The rooms were ideal & shower was great. Room cleaned everyday, towels changed every 2 days & bedding every 4 days. Pool was spotless, good size & no issue getting a sunbed. Poolside drinks were perfect. Food at the hotel was delicious. Mini marts and other restaurants very close. 10 minute walk to 3 different beaches. Taxi to Chania Old town in around 10 mins for β¬10. Highly recommend this small family run hotel.. Negative: Everything was perfect. Nothing to dislike..
