A	Amy Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a poor experience dealing with Ammos hotel throughout Covid. We asked to reschedule our trip because I was pregnant and was told the hotel would not let us. I then asked if we could instead rebook the following year and the hotel refused to engage with us telling us we would have to go through the regular booking process but it was not yet open for when we wanted to book and would have to wait. Then when we next followed up next we were told all the rooms had been booked already. Instead of simply helping us to easily make a booking the owner wasted a lot of our time and was then really rude to me on email. To me this shows that the owner doesn’t understand the audience he actually caters for and is not even a polite empathetic person. I won’t be booking this hotel ever and I refuse to give my money to companies who hate their customers.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the margarita cocktails are some of the best I’ve had. Beautiful beach with comfy sun beds and warm sea, lovely clean pool, delicious and very generous breakfast (€14 per adult for an expansive selection). From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and welcome. Massive thanks in particular to Albert who was such a nice guy!

The staff was very friendly and helpful : we got basically all our visiting tips from them for the week and didn't need to look further than that ! The rooms are spacious even if it was just us two. Although a lot of couple seems to manage just fine with one or two kids on top. I especially like the attention to details you can find everywhere : the design, the ever attentive staff and so on. For example : we've had some tea in the evening in the bed room and boiled the water with a sauce pan. The cleaning staff notice it and brought us a kettle. We didn't event had to ask ! Would definitely stay there again in the future given the chance.

Beautiful, great design, very spacious rooms The service was perfect,Nikkos the owner was very warm and knows everything and the receptionists Nectaria and specially Chrisa were amazing The food is amazing too!! We didn’t want to leave!! Thank uou Ammos for an incredible stay!!

Everything feels like a home away from home, with very attentive staff, super cleaning of the rooms, and tasteful food and drinks. Since it’s a rather small hotel the staff does their best to get know you and provide whatever you need on your holiday. They also provide an app with all the recommendations you need for things to do and restaurants in and around Chania. The only improvement for us would be softer beds, but when we asked for one they immediately replaced the bed with a softer one. We hope to come back some day and would recommend the hotel to anyone.
