★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many places call themselves boutiques when what they really are is just a store (or, in a town such as Elounda, perhaps only a souvenir store). The French term “boutique” originated from a Greek word, and Kallos is thus true to the entire etymology of its name. Most importantly, the owners adhere to a tradition of customer service and, honestly, authentic hospitality that makes a visit to this gem of a shop a wonderful experience befitting the status of a real boutique. But, of course, it’s all about the clothes, and here we found well-made, original and stylish designer clothing and accessories at prices that don’t require you to own a yacht. So, I’m glad we were drawn here by the fashion, but also extremely pleased with the experience of not just shopping at Kallos, but of stopping by for a visit in the best sense of the word.
