★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well organized beach, next to a promenade where one may find all kinds of taverns and bars. The view is quite nice, water is crystal clear and sand is soft. The beach worth a better maintenance though, as it is awarded with a 'blue flag'and the administrators should provide ashtrays at least by request, for that 10 euro charged for a pair of sunbeds and one umbrella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach of the beautiful seaside village of Kapsali. There are enough accomodation options at the area. Also pretty nice traditional taverns with good food and drink options, as well as cafe and bars. Nice for all ages, nice choice for summer holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kapsali is the beach I go to most often because it is so practical if you have got kids. A part of the beach is rocky and the rest is covered by sand. That means you can build lots of castles :) also just above the plage there are many options to choose from for proper food, a small bite or just a drink. At the very edge of it children are given swimming lessons starting in July. On top of all this there are showers to use before you leave the beach and cabins to change. Last but not least, a couple of years ago an immersing wheelchair was fitted so that wheelchair users can also enjoy the sea! Five stars for Kapsali from me (although it is not the prettiest beach on Kythera!)
