★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The folks handled a busy lunch with style and a smile, well done. I had what was easily the most immense and expertly cooked mixed grill I have ever had, no exaggeration. Best seat in the house was an added bonus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food. Very very large portions. Nice experience. Quick service and very friendly staff. We had lamb in the oven with patatoes and sea food spaghetti. The prices also are excellent since we paid double the previous days for half of the portion but in the Crete cities :)

I love the fact that you can come here directly after swimming at the adjacent beach.

I’ve been a frequent to this tavern for almost 5 years now and the people, quality and tastes remain the same and that is outstanding for any type of business let alone a tourist tavern.
The meat and fish are grilled to perfection and remain juicy and flavorful.
At the end of the meal raki and a fruit platter is served on the house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly good sea food and a wonderful little taverna in a beautiful small bay. The service was very good, staff is super friendly and welcoming. Very clean overall and also clean and modern bathrooms.
Great value for money - I can highly recommend the Taverna Karavostasi!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to eat good food! The staff is very friendly, and speak several languages: Greek, English, French and a little Dutch. Started with the spinach pies, for main the mixed grill and finished it off with a homemade desert. All while enjoying the great view! ? Efcharistó!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful restaurant with great views. The food is excellent, I'd particularly recommend the cordon bleu, and reasonably priced, with friendly and attentive staff.
There are numerous cats that frequent the restaurant and are an added attraction if you like that sort of thing, which I do!
Do yourself a favour and call in here for an evening meal.
