★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφη διαδρομή απλά θα ήθελε καθάρισμα και διάνοιξη σε κάποια σημεία! Παρόλαυτα είναι ωραία και πολύ εύκολη για όλη την οικογένεια.
 Beautiful route would just like cleaning and digging in some places! Nevertheless it is nice and very easy for the whole family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dziwnie miejsce. Z jednej strony myślę - warto, z drugiej tak długi dojazd by zrobić spacer wzdłuż rzeki. Miejsce nie zachwyca niczym szczególnym. Dojazd jest kiepski bo droga jakby zapomniana (na szczęście na dzień dzisiejszy są jeszcze znaki, trzeba jechać tak daleko na ile starczy nam odwagi i zostawić auto gdziekolwiek na drodze). Faktycznie trzeba przeciąć rzekę kilka razy, ostatni przejazd odpuściliśmy bo była zbyt duża wyrwa. Sam kanion taki sobie. Najbardziej denerwuje fakt że chyba już nikt o niego nie dba. A tu brakuje schodów, a tu mostek drewniany ledwo daje radę. Sam fakt przejścia przez te rzekę jeszcze zanim dotrze się do wejścia do kanoiniu. Naprawdę tak drogie były ma małe metalowe przejścia? Jakieś dziwne ruiny też nie dodają uroku.
Koło 2,5km napotkaliśmy rój jakichś owadów i kilka much nas zaatakowało. Na szczęście nic nas nie pogryzło. Po 3 km zawróciliśmy.
Weird place. On the one hand, I think - it's worth it, on the other hand, such a long journey to take a walk along the river. The place does not impress with anything special. The access is poor because the road seems to be forgotten (fortunately, there are still signs today, you have to go as far as you have the courage and leave the car anywhere on the road). In fact, you have to cross the river several times, we missed the last run because there was too much of a gap. The canyon itself is so-so. The most irritating fact is that nobody cares about him anymore. And here there are no stairs, and here the wooden bridge can barely make it. The mere fact of crossing this river before you even reach the entrance to the canoe. Was it really that expensive, were it has little metal aisles? Some strange ruins do not add to the charm either.
Around 2.5 km, we encountered a swarm of insects and a few flies attacked us. Fortunately, nothing has eaten us up. After 3 km, we turned back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best football academies in Heraklion. There are three football courts, one covered. Also there is a caffe - restaurant usually used to organise birthday parties. The place is very nice and relaxing, located in the southwestern suburbs of Heraklion, surrounded by trees and with comfortable parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Karteros Canyon trail is exceedingly difficult to follow the father south one goes. In the north it is a paved road, which becomes a 4x4 dirt road, which becomes a hiking trail. The problem is that the hiking trail is overrun by thorn bushes, is poorly marked, and oftentimes there is no trail at all and the explorer has to whack and plow his way through a jungle of thorns, bamboo and other dense vegetation. Until the trail is cleaned up and properly marked, it is best avoided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For sure beautiful, but in April it was not possible to reach it even on foot. The road is blocked by the river not only one time. As the overflooded road is slippery it is not without danger to cross it even on foot, because it is quite deep and the river has quite much power. The quality road has about 1.5km away from the canyon an end. Do not even try to drive further especially if you do not have a 4WD car. You will get stuck and not able to turn back. After that pont the road becomes very heavy und in April is full of with deep mud. Maybe it is not a problem in the Summer, but today it was and there is no any cautionsignal. So take care if you want to visit this place. A nice planed day may end with a destroyed car.
