★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Οί επισκέπτες - ταξιδιώτες που '' μπαίνουν'' από την Βόρεια μεριά με τον δρόμο στο Οροπέδιο του Ασκύφου , βλέπουν συνήθως ένα λόφο και ένα κτίριο......
Είναι όμως ΔΥΟ οι λόφοι και ΔΥΟ τα κτίρια.......Ο δρόμος που επικοινωνούν ακόμα και σήμερα από ψηλά φαίνεται πόσο '' έξυπνα '' έχει γίνει ώστε να είναι χρήσιμος τάχιστα σε κάθε περίπτωση......
Εχουν κτιστεί μετά την εξέργεση του 1866 για να έχουν την περιοχή υπό τον έλεγχό τους οι Τούρκοι......
