★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy access, wild untypical for the Attica region flora, a simple hike through the stream up to the seasonal falls...worth going in the summer to profit with a swim in the shallows...might have to paddle in places...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience 1,5 hour walking (to and fro) with lovely weather. Some do it by car, however walking is best. Get some water, in case you become dehydrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unreal place just a quick drive away from the city. Can also be accessed by bus from Kifissia, 536 to the end of the line and a downhill hike after that.
Well, the way back is uphill, but the view of the marble mine (the one from which the Parthenon was built!) and the Rapendosa dam is amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You park your car a little far away and you walk approximately 3km. Definitely worth walking! Crystal clear and cool water. You have to take a swim!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place but it is hard to find. Once you get to the place where the river crosses the road, head upstream. There is a path to the left side of the river. See the photo for the reference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An an unexpected paradise in the north of Attika which you do not frequently meet especially in crowded cities' suburbs. Like a secret place that even locals ignore the existence. Kids friendly- they can swim, however, it is recommended to drive there via an SUV car considering road is rough. There is a small waterfall and higher up the big one. You may wet shoes since path goes through the water as you cross the little river created by the waterfalls.
