★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and tasty food; under a plane tree sitting in spring and summer months: a place to visit with family or close friends when you are really hungry and don't mind the loud patrons and the occasionally bored or tired looking waitress. When you leave, the excellent taste lingers longer in memory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a traditional taverna with genuine local people. lovely the way the menu was presented. The lady came to the table with plates containing a small amount of the dishes to order. Popular prices as expected. If you are a real traveler, stop by and relax under the trees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Homemade Cretan food , no daily menu just what the cook prepared that day. Everything was delicious and the house white wine was the best we had so far in the country. Will definitely be coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden little place. There seems to be a small parking just next to it (although doesn't belong to the Taverna). No particular menu, but the lady showed us tiny plates with samples to choose our meal from. We had greek salad, rabbit and I think goat? With fries and bread. And some wine, water and watermelon. All delicious and fresh. All very cheap. And lovely ladies working there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This off the beaten path hidden gem was bar far one of the best meals my husband and I have ever experienced. We are in Crete on our honeymoon and were looking for a traditional place to eat and we found it here. The owners were so sweet and made sure we did not leave hungry. They do not offer a menu but selections from what they prepared daily. The food was fresh and delicious…great wine and grappa too! If you’re looking for a true Greek experience, this is the place to be. I hope one day we will be able to return!
