Der Mann ist extra noch einkaufen gefahren, um Zucchini zu holen. Dann bekamen wir die köstlichsten Zucchini Bällchen heiss auf den Teller. Wem gutes Essen wichtiger ist als ein aufgetakeltes Ambiente, sollte hier einkehren. I can only confirm the reviews that I have read here. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared. The man went shopping to get zucchini. Then we got the most delicious zucchini balls hot on our plate. If good food is more important than a well-dressed ambience, you should stop here.

Een echtpaar runt hun restaurantje met de vrouw als kok en de man als ober. Zij kan echt abnormaal goed koken. De souvlaki was zo goed dat alle andere nu tegenvallen. Mijn vriend had beef teki en ook die was heerlijk gekruid. Haar man vertelde ons ook dat zij er iets speciaals mee doet. Het restaurant heeft een terras dat de hele dag lekker in de schaduw ligt. De man spreekt natuurlijk Grieks, maar ook redelijk Engels en Duits. Bestellen is geen probleem in deze talen. Dit is een absolute must go voor iedereen! BEST FOOD OF CRETE!!! If you're looking for real homemade, or just super tasty, Greek food, this is the place to be! A couple runs their restaurant with the woman as the cook and the man as the waiter. She can cook abnormally well. The souvlaki was so good that all the others are now disappointing. My friend had beef teki and that too was wonderfully seasoned. Her husband also told us that she is doing something special with it. The restaurant has a terrace that is nicely shaded throughout the day. The man speaks Greek of course, but also reasonable English and German. Ordering is no problem in these languages. This is an absolute must go for everyone!

Der Wirt ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam . Vergleichsweise sehr günstig zu den touristischen Städten aber bei weitem die besten Gerichte die wir über den gesamten Kreta Aufenthalt gegessen haben. Auf jeden Fall ein Geheimtipp. Wir kommen wieder. Authentic restaurant in a cute little village with excellent food. From the starter to the salad to the main course. The host is very courteous and attentive. Comparatively very cheap to the tourist cities but by far the best dishes we ate over our entire stay in Crete. Definitely an insider tip. We will be back.

Wir waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal hier. Authentic, mega delicious, simply original! Warm and lovely host. Top price-performance ratio. Always worth a trip to the mountains. We were definitely not the last time here.

Das Lamm war butterweich und perfekt gewürzt. Die Preise für was wir bekommen haben sehr günstig. Direkt ums Eck sind 2/3 Touristenfallen - Der Laden hat bis heute nicht mal ein Tripadvisor Profil. Vom Wirt bedient von seiner Frau bekocht. Gerade mal insgesamt 7 Tische und 4 davon auf dem kleinem Platz gegenüber unter Bäumen im Schatten. Wir waren begeistert. By far the most honest food we've had on the island. The oil in the salad is awesome, the zucchini balls with a little mint in the batter are divine. The lamb was buttery soft and seasoned to perfection. The prices for what we got were very cheap. Right around the corner are 2/3 tourist traps - the shop doesn't even have a Tripadvisor profile to this day. Cooked by the landlord, served by his wife. Just a total of 7 tables and 4 of them on the small square opposite under trees in the shade. We loved it.

Was die Köchin in der kleinen Küche zaubert ist kaum zu überbieten. Absolut frisch, geschmacklich ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus.Vollkommen unscheinbar an der Hauptstraße gelegen, nach unserer Meinung leider viel zu wenig beachtet. Wir kommen wieder!

We had her souvlaki and beef teki and it was just wonderful, We have not tasted anything so nice on Crete. It is a real hidden gem! They have a nice peaceful terrace in the shade. The man speaks Greek (of cours), some English and some German. Enough to let you order drinks, food and even to make some small talk. The prices very low, so there is no reason to not go to this mom and pop restaurant!
