Aroma of wood burning stoves, facinating old Jewish quarter only partially restored, noise of the river rushing over rocks below and an interesting town to explore in leisurely fashion the next day. The hotel has been beautifully restored, is comfortable and well appointed...a very high class establishment for the discerning. Affordable in spite of its intriguing ambiance and gracious attributes. Clean mountain air, warm sunshine at the end of March...visit relics from both the Byzantine and Ottoman empires...a fabulous experience much enhanced by this brilliant little hotel.

The owners are very friendly! I think this is the best hotel in Veria and most likely the best of most hotels I've stayed at... And I have stayed to a lot of hotels as I happen to travel a lot, over the world! Definitely recommend it!

The venues was well positioned, cozy and clean, the shower area was a little impractical leaving pools of water on the bathroom floor. Cud do with more electrical plugs. Having said that, the most important things where great. The bed comfortable, great view and overall a wonderful experience. Veria added the soft personal touch. We will be back.

We stayed in an excellent suite in the building's attic with a lovely balcony with a view of the river, the upper parts of the town and the surrounding hills. The owners are very nice people and really helpful. They suggested great places for sightseeing and excursions and top restaurants with the most delicious food. The breakfast they serve at the hotel is out of this world. Everything fresh and delicious, including their own, homemade preserves and cake, and olives and nuts from trees they grow themselves. The best accommodation experience you'll ever have. Highly recommended, it's really the best option you have in town.

The view is breathtaking as it sits on the rock , right above the river in the old Jewish neighbourhood. The rooms are just perfect , quiet , all furnished with a vintage and expensive taste . A must visit when in Greece ! Thank you for everything !

Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is gorgeous. Liquor in room for guests as a welcome. Walking distance of everything. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good (fruit, nuts, and bread only if you’re vegan). CONS: bathroom smells like a basement that flooded and molded (drains need to be cleaned). The drive to find it was confusing and tight—follow the directions emailed to you exactly. Breakfast is addition 10 euros per person—not included.
