★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η κορυφή είναι σε υψόμετρο 2.476 μέτρων. Έχει καταπληκτική θέα προς όλες τις ψηλές κορυφές του Ολύμπου. Αρκεί να μην έχει νεφοκάλυψη. Αποδώ ξεκινάει ένα περίφημο τμήμα του Ολύμπου και για μένα ένα από τα ομορφότερα.. Είναι ο Λαιμός και το Πέρασμα του Γιόσου..Η Σκούρτα και ο Λαιμός χρειάζονται προσοχή ιδίως μεσημεριανές ώρες. Παρουσιάζουν συχνή νεφοκάλυψη και οι απρόβλεπτες καταιγίδες ακόμη και καλοκαίρι είναι ένα συχνό φαινόμενο. Το σίγουρο είναι ότι αν βρεθείς εκεί με τέτοιες συνθήκες δεν θα είναι καθόλου ευχάριστο.

From here begins a famous part of Olympus and for me one of the most beautiful .. It is the Neck and the Passage of Gios .. Skourta and the Neck need attention especially at noon.
