★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best local place in Sifnos. Located in the amazing beach of Kamares, Kyma is the best place to relax and enjoy amazing traditional food cooked traditionally with love!! If you are around on a Sunday then definitely ask the team in Kyma to keep you a portion of Revithada. It’s a Sifnos must! A family recipe, traditionally cooked; hands down the best Revithada in Sifnos!!!!

Kyma ( wave in Greece ) is a tsunami of fun hahaha

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the early morning (9h) we (2 persons) went to lie down on the sofa to share one smoothie and the place was almost empty.
The waitress took our order, then came back few minutes later asking us to pay 20€ for the location, but also say that the price could includes drinks -> very unclear.
Finally we understand that they wanted us to consume a lot more to stay in the sofa whereas the smoothie is already 6,5€ and the place empty.
Sad to tell that in a bar on a simple Greek island we meet this behavior which are neither commercial nor welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best loungers on the beach at Sifnos. If you stay in their rooms/apartments up the hill, they don't charge for the lounger beds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overcharged - whilst paying by card, the lady first confirmed the items on a hand-written note (without mentioning the full amount) but the amount charged on the PoS was +€2 over what the total should have been (we didn't use the sunbed(s), so the 20 eur argument would not fly). Shame considering the location is lovely and we would have tipped the lad serving us anyway (he was clearly overworked and was sole in charge but still had a smile and was courteous), hence didn't bother with it. But said practice seems to be in line with most other places on Sifnos (e.g. at the pizzeria accross the street - they would place breadsticks on your table and add a 2 eur charge).
