★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem tucked away off the main tourist shopping boulevard, just far enough from the beach crowds.
This is a family establishment where everyone pitches in. The food is very good, better than the busier places right in on the beach, prices reasonable, and you are tucked away in a courtyard. Our family had a full spread of Greek and Cretan classic dishes and they were as good as any we’ve had on Crete.
It is also just fun to eat here, with a teenage grandson apt to appear out of the blue with raki and desert for everyone in the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place gave me the best night I had in Crete. Everything was perfection from start to finish. I had a prawn risotto which was delicious. They also gave me a kataifi dessert on the house and that was tasty too! They make their honey raki on sight which tasted great. There’s also a bit of live music at night which is incredible. THE MOST beautiful restaurant, loved my time here, thank you x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is really a hidden gem in Rethymnon, where they try to make their customers as happy as possible. We were there for the second time on a week, and surprisingly they still remembered us, and warmly welcomed us. The ambiance is really cozy, service is with a big smile, professional, and quick. The food is delicious, good to see that there are still restaurants that know how to prepare beef medium-rare. At the end we got a kadeifi dessert from the house, which was very kind but above all very very tasty. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice place. A gem in the old town. Between many restaurants with average food this place has a very high standard and quality of food. Prices are ok (value to money spend), but it is a little bit on the expensive side. The staff is exceptional, though. ?
