★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the food here - Cheese mix is delicious! I highly recommend this appetizer and vegetarian pizza was also one of the best I've tasted in Rethymno! Staff is (by default Crete standard on which I quickly got accustomed to) very kind and patient. ^^

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could write in Greek - I would. We loved their food!! The service was amazing. We were in Crete a week, and we went twice to eat here! The service was great, the food was great, and the host above and beyond great! My wife and I agreed that when we come back to Crete, we’re coming here for dinner. They allowed me to modify my pasta, my wife’s pizza, and they allowed us to enjoy the time we had with our family without rushing us. The restaurants ambience, location, and class were exactly what we wanted in our Greek experience.
Hands down - THE BEST MEAL ON CRETE! #Greatness

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central location, tourist trap. The waitress was nice. The filter coffee was fine but the Fredo Cappucino was really bad. The glasses for the water were really dirty too. Don’t think we would visit it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite it being right next to the famous fountain, you could still eat at a reasonable price. We shared a pizza and salad, for about €20. Fresh orange was lovely. Nice place to sit and people watch .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband daughter and I have been going to Rethymno 5 times now and go to Cafe Galero every time.
We always get good service and the food is good. Our daughter is comfortable enough to go there on her own with a good book sit read eat and drink. Never rushed can sit for a good few hours people watching. Would recommend. Sorry no photos.
