We went on a stag party, so fairly easy going.
When we were there the place was full of 16 to 20yr olds (anyone above 25 would feel out of place).
The spirits being served are full of (what we were told) is methanol by the local guide.
Out of 20 lads 14 were coughing up or being sicking up blood and felt really unwell on the last day.
If you try to by bottles of say Corona, we were being charged as much as €6 A bottle. A bottle of absolute vodka in the club's (so you had a fighting chance of not being poisened) was between €100 & €120.
In essence the who place was extremely expensive even if you are cash comfortable .
The streets were also littered with rubbish as there are no bins in sight.
On a positive note, the sea and caves are stunning. You can hire a small speed boat from as little as €20 for 2 hrs (per person) which includes fuel. Your best bet is to buy from the local supermarkets (There are several) and take a boat out.
