Friendly too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was excited to try Laganon based on all the positive reviews. I ordered the Pollo Rosso which was not good. The dish was dry and flavours didn’t work well together. After trying the pasta I went back up and ordered the Bolognese. My girlfriend ordered the Salmone which was solid. I appreciate that the staff care a lot about the food given they seemed upset that I didn’t like the Pollo Rosso. The owner came up to me twice to defend the dish. Overall a pretty poor experience and felt uncomfortable eating my Bolognese. I didn’t hold anything against the restaurant for the poor dish (was happy to reorder) but the defensiveness was not necessary from the owner. Disappointing..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re ever craving for pasta, this is the place to be visiting at Crete! The pasta was delicious and really nice! I got the truffle pasta along with bruschetta starters.
The staff were really accommodating and explained the menu very well. It’s a family welcoming environment and the interior was really well decorated!
I would 100% recommend a visit if you’re ever in the area, thank you again for your hospitality!

The pasta is homemade and you get to chose what type of pasta you want. The sauce was perfect and the mushrooms, that I usually pick off, were cooked so well that I ate them all. This place is affordable and fulfilling. Make sure to bring your vaccination card with you to eat here. Definitely worth it. Best pasta in Chania.
