★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wenn man im Norden Kretas ist sollte man sicher einen Abstecher hier her machen. Ob das jetzt in der Hauptreisezeit auch sein muss mag jeder für sich entscheiden. Jetzt Mitte Mai angenehm leer und ein schöner ruhiger Gegensatz zum ansonsten sehr lauten und unruhige Rethymno. Kaum vorstellbar, dass zum Winter hin der Wasserspiegel deutlich höher sein soll.
If you are in the north of Crete you should definitely make a detour here. Everyone can decide for themselves whether this has to be the case during the peak travel season. Now pleasantly empty in mid-May and a nice quiet contrast to the otherwise very noisy and restless Rethymno. It is hard to imagine that the water level should be significantly higher towards winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magiczne, cudowne miejsce. Jedno z najpiękniejszych jakie widziałam, ten kto kocha naturę z pewnością się tu odnajdzie. Wypożyczenie rowerka 5Eur/h (choć dość stare, płynąc widziałam dwie inne wypożyczalnie z lepszym sprzętem, nie znam ceny). Można w dowolnym momencie przypiąć rowerek do gałęzi, wskoczyć do wody i pływać. Żółwie, no cóż one raczej nie chcą do ludzi i się chowają. Znajdziesz je wchodząc do tawerny przy parkingu, wchodząc na taras i... wychylając się przez barierkę. Tam też roztacza się cudny widok na jeziorko... Niezapomniane przeżycie. Serdecznie polecam. Tylko proszę, nie róbcie hałasu, to szkodzi naszym kochanym przyjaciołom...
