It is shaded from the heat by the trees overhead and gives excellent views over the lake. The food is moderately priced and amenities include a small play area for younger children. Toilets are available across the road.
A	Annelyn Kindynis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good taverna in Kournas ! Fresh food, authentic advises from the boss to choose the food... Antexristo was nostimo and the fish was one of the Best I ate in Crete. Thank you. We Will come back and advise your taverna to our customers.

Unfortunately, even excluding seafood everything from starters to main dishes was such a disappointment! One star because of normal salad!

To make an excuse, the place seemed understaffed. We ordered only starters and they were generally mediocre. On the positive, the view is very nice and the staff acted well when a sudden wind took place, by rolling down the plastic curtains to shield the people at their tables from the wind.

Drinks, half of the menu was "we don't have that" We ordered rakomelo which came as port wine. View is amazing but that's it for this place.
