Well... It's a house, really small and lovely. Not a museum. There was no option to get inside. Anyway, it's a nice place to visit. Entire island is beautiful!!!

Google suggests this place is a museum. In fact, it's just a house where a famous person once lived. As far as I can tell, it's not open to the public but, if paying homage by visiting is your thing, I guess you'll be happy enough. Be aware that the map 'pin' isn't very accurate in its position.

Not much to see even for the most ardent fan but we really enjoyed the walk up and over through the "suburbs" of Hydra.

Not a sign in spite. But you don't really care for music, do you?

Not more to see here except the four walls surrounding the Cohen “Compound”, unless you want to get to be stalker and weird about it. I did have a sense of accomplishment navigating with Gmaps through the streets of Hydra. Accuracy is not one of Gmaps’ strong points among the multifarious routes. Also note Gmaps does not indicate stairs, but if you’re a fan, the climb is worth it to this Tower of Song!

I feel torn on what rating to give here. My mother is a fan and had wanted to visit Hydra for many years. We walked up to the house after dinner on our first evening in Hydra. It was a really nice walk with many stops to feed and pet cats along the way. The location may be slightly off in maps as it was a bit difficult to locate in the end. When we arrived it felt pretty awkward as we were a group of three Australians standing around outside a Greek strangers front door, who could be heard talking/living their life inside. We took a quick snap, pet the cat on the front stoop and legged it away. We were glad to visit but did feel pretty guilty/sorry for whoever lives there and must be pretty sick of having people loiter by their home. We had a great time getting turned around (and finding even more cats) on all the little streets whilst trying to find our way back home.
