Furthermore, neither we nor all the other customers could pay by card because of " a problem of the internet connection, but the ATM for cash is around the corner...." We are tired of your excuses. Respect the people who choose to visit you.
P	Pierros Zevolis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant at the old town of Nayplio, close enough to the central square. Beautiful classic-style decoration, nice atmosphere. Tasty dishes as well as good variety of wines and desserts. It has also a cosy bar with nice music for drinks. The service is good.

Food was not so good, had the chicken baguette and it was probably the driest chicken I’ve ate and basically no pesto sauce. Bread was too hard. Gf had the fruit salad, that was okay. Expensive for what it is tbh but maybe the dinner menu is better. What really annoyed me was that they tried to charge us for water (that we didn’t ask for anyway) when we hadn’t opened it. For me water should always be offered free with food anyway - but if you are charging, make sure the customer has actually opened the bottle before annoying them by trying to slyly add it to the bill... wasn’t about the money as it’s just water, but it’s the principle.

What bothered me was that I wanted to pay by credit card and our waiter kept giving me excuses on how it would be a problem if I did.... without directly telling that the system was down. I ended up paying in cash and I didn't want to. My fault. I should have insisted. It really is awkward and I'm not keen on going back.

When very crowded the service is a bit slow, which is logical, but definitely worth the wait. The staff is kind, respectful and really helpful. Would greatly recommend for food and late afternoon/night drinks. 10/10

As for the food, it's a bit more inventive than your basic Greek taverna : red tzatziki (with beetroot, so natural colour and great twist on the classic version) to go with the spicy lamb souvlaki, the use of alternative vegetable as garnish (my wife had manioc with her lamb roast)... friendly waiter too. I do recommend this one.

Recommend their very own Liatero cocktail. We loved this place so much we went back for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered a marinara and the steak. Both very delicious.
