★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good restaurant with several varieties of foods. The sea food dish for two was excellent. The salads were good. Our group liked all of the food ordered. Sweets were good as well. We sat outside. The view was relaxing. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice experience. Food, service and atmosphere are excellent. Sizeable portions at a very reasonable price for the quality. Care taken for each plate. Nice flavors. Loved the Diamond and Vegan salads. Salmon was delicious and large cut of fish. Also nice local wines which they decanted. Sophisticated experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place on a whim, was not sure what to expect. After arriving and spending some time here, I could tell the food was going to be good based on how well the staff treated me. The food was very well cooked and had great flavor an presentation. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond for me. I hope to visit again!

Food was okay, equal quality to eating at a Taverna..
However came out quickly, lovely presentation & reasonably priced.
Very pretty restaurant overlooking a beautiful setting, shame it’s sat on a very busy through-road.
Female waitress was amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Espero is a new restaurant in a recently renovated neoclassical building. The design and atmosphere is great and everything we tried was delicious. Staff was very friendly and willing to help but they need some time to get fully organized. So you might have to wait some time until you get served. In the past there was another famous restaurant, called Allaloum, in this place. Like with any other restaurant in the old town of Nafplio, you need to either make a reservation or have to wait until you find a table, especially during the high season

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The starters were great! We had traditional onion pie, bruschetta with chicken and caramelized Pancetta.. delicious! As a main dish we shared the seafood platter.. this was not that great, the shrimps were mushy, the fish didn't taste fresh and it was served quite cold.. clean toilets, the ambiance is beautiful and the waitress was very friendly! And the price? A little more expensive than similar restaurants but not too much..
