★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little restaurant on the way up to Kastro. Super fresh ingredients, saw the two cooks preparing with care in a tiny kitchen. Desserts were original and tasty, service courteous. Will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning restaurant in Chora (the main town on Naxos island). It's nearly impossible to find and mobile maps will only point you in the general direction, but consider it a part of the experience.
Once you're there, don't miss the fried pie for starters and the beautiful dessert pictured here (currently second on the list and known as the most popular with customers). We got the shrimp risotto as a main, but they have a lot of wonderful dishes for your enjoyment.
Make sure to call ahead, to get one of the tables outside!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was fabulous! We ordered octopus, and shrimp risotto. Both were absolutely delicious. The white wine was a good match to the food. We also ordered a sponge in syrup with naxian ice cream which was alright.
The staff was very kind and caring. Would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a fine meal and a good vibe.
Do book 1or 2 days beforehand in the high season!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a break from classic Greek taverns but still wanna go for Greek food then look no further - an authentic small restaurant that is a must when you visit the island of Naxos. It's located on a narrow picturesque street. Ambience is a delight.
Staff was adorable, friendly, helpful and fast.
Linguine with various seafood in ouzo and tomato sauce was a mind blowing culinary escape. I wish we had had time to go back there to try the rest, but next time.
Lithos gets filled quickly so either make a reservation or go there when they open at 6.30 and you might score a seat ;)
