★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cats, cats, cats! Local folk even leave out water bowls and food for these strays. This friendly chap was spotted on the way from Mandraki to Hydra town.
Food here was great, nothing wrong with the service and lovely views - enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came with a group and did not eat in the restaurant.
We came more for the adjoining beach, the no-nonsense version of Mandraki beach resort just before (if you come on the boat, you are pressured while disembarking to stay and pay 30 euros for two deckchairs and and a parasol)!
However, if you cross the resort and continue walking for just 5 minutes you come to this place, much simpler but deckchairs are 4 euros apiece and the restaurant also offers drinks service to the beach.
The beach is smaller but calmer as a result, and still has ample space for swimming. So, Mandraki has a spot for everyone, whether you prefer luxury or simplicity ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading some of the poor reviews online we headed up to Mavspaki 1800 with intrepidation. The welcome and service when we arrived was fantastic. The rose was cold and fresh and when our food arrived we couldn’t be happier. The view is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the better of the two places in Mandraki. It has free beach loungers and serves the usual assortment of Greek food. The portions were a little on the small side and one of our dishes was mediocre but the beer was cold and the service was friendly. The prices are not unreasonable as suggested by other reviews. We eventually spend most of the day on their little beach being lazy and slurping up beer and frapé and had a great time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small (and only) restaurant in this small beautiful bay and they do not hesitate to make a fortune of that. The food is typical and tastes good. But the price is very high. You can't read the bill and that is not a coincidence I guess. Nevertheless, it's a nice location with live entertainment by a huge number of cats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrasse is nice and that's it. Food awful, . Fries swimming in oil meat ftom low quality salad very poor. Orange juice taste like water. Service rude. Last but not least flies by 'squadrons' making your lunch a hell. Have a look around when going to toilet it's self-explanatory. Take your picnic with you you will safe money and you will be sure about what you eat and the quality of your products.
