★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in a brand new building, the room was ok, but there is no proper bathroom. The toilet is separate from the shower and they both stink and the smell goes inside the room even though the doors are closed. The sink is actually in the room and the tap has a will of its own, it closes whenever it wants and you cannot wash unless you open it completely and then water goes on the walls and actually everywhere. Breakfast was the same every day and not rich (rock solid croissants). And the management is so low.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Mandraki Village for 4 nights and everything was great; friendly staff, modern rooms, comfortable bed and pillows.
Upon arrival, they welcomed us with a refreshing cold lemonade which was very much appreciated! They also upgraded our room for free to one of their newest rooms which they started offering this summer.
The hotel is located very close to Koukounaries beach and it offers many parking slots for its residents. WiFi signal and speed were both great!
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options to choose from and on Sundays they even make fresh pancakes free of charge! ?
The rooms were clean when we arrived but during our stay they could have been cleaned a bit better.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in Mandraki Village!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly stuff, awesome food, sign in for their weekly BBQ! A lot of green, like a little park, a few details need some renovation.. And spoons at the breakfast buffet would be nice. The new rooms in the white house are beautiful designed.
Update:
Spoons are now part of the set ,) and the music has improved: lounge in the morning, soft house beats in the evening

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for the first time this year and so happy we found it. The hotel is incredibly clean and very well presented, beautiful decorations and lovely bar and pool area. The staff and the service they provided was outstanding and so lovely. They were incredibly accommodating with my dietary requirements when we contacted them before we arrived, and every morning I have warm crunchy gluten free bread for breakfast amongst the many other mouthwatering options.
The options for food and drinks wasn’t limited, and we enjoyed a fair few cocktails and delicious plates! Upon our arrival we were served with a thirst quenching lemonade drink which didn’t last long at all!
Koukounaries isn’t far from the hotel, with three different routes to take to suit yourself! If walking isn’t your thing or you want a trip into the centre then the bus stop (23) is a hop, skip and a jump away.
We honestly had an amazing time here and left feeling relaxed, chilled and very very happy! We look forward to coming here again!
Thank you to all the staff who made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mandraki describes itself as a 4 star boutique hotel, and yes it has scatter cushions throws and shabby chic furniture in abundance, but unfortunately in my view that is only a small part of what makes for a boutique experience.
On arrival at about 8pm and one of only two couples checking in , we were thrilled to be told we had been upgraded to a junior suite, and went to unpack. We then went down to the white room, bar and restaurant to have a snack and a drink which was nothing special and overpriced After finishing and on our way to reception we were told of a mix up in the rooms, and given notice that we would have to be downgraded to a standard garden view room in the morning. Obviously this involved having to repack and then unpack everything into the new room, and I expressed my annoyance at the inconvenience. No empathy was shown and the general attitude was very disappointing, being told that 'we were getting the room we had booked'. The replacement room which was small and dark, with outdated fittings, and nothing like the photos on the website. Tea and coffee was supplied but when my wife asked for some milk, it seemed that was a very unusual request and was not supplied. At this stage we felt that we were considered to be awkward customers and were made to feel uncomfortable. I eventually talked to a senior member of staff, explaining our dissatisfaction, and two small jugs of milk arrived and the snack was taken off the bill as way of compensation for to the initial room mixup.
Not wanting to be seen to complain further, we bought our own supply of tea and milk.
PS
The hotel's restaurant and white bar is so much more expensive than the bars and restaurant's just down the road, that they always seemed empty and therefore the hotel had no atmosphere whatsoever in the evening, with most guests trekking down the road to eat out. Breakfast was fairly basic and never altered, so if staying for more than a week would probably become repetitive. Also there always seemed to be something missing, sugar ,spoons or glasses for the orange juice, never mind a smile or a welcome.
However the worst was yet to come. On the way back to the airport for our flight home, my wife took out our passports to discover it wasn't hers! Luckily the other lady was also on the bus and we were able to swap them, however if either one of us had Ben staying another week, we can't imagine what would of happened.
I imagine the hotel would argue that they have a lot of repeat customers, and that bookings are good, and this is maybe why the hotel and staff don't need to try to hard to offer the little bit extra, that normally creates a 'boutique' experience.
We have stayed at a number of different hotels on the island, some more expensive and some less so, but we have up to this point always been made to feel welcome. We love Skiathos and will no doubt be back, but won't be staying at the Mandraki again.
On the plus side the gardens and pool area are lovely

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great find. Hotel staff very welcoming on arrival and that service didn't end, they were brilliant all the time and always friendly. The breakfast was great , very good choice on offer, all fresh and all very good. Setting is lovely, gardens very well kept, pool area always clean and tidy. Only thing I would say I could moan about is the storage space in our room, but a bit of clever thinking we made space. Already looking to book for next year.
