The appearance of this place seems suspicious at first, but do not let it fool you! We had by far our best meal at Skiathos here. The quality of the food is excellent, everything is home-grown and Michalis is a great character with many stories to tell! Overall a unique experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were last in Skiathos 6 years ago and spent a few evenings in Captain Michaels, he treated us like part of the family and on our departure, presented our son with a Greek Goddess statue. The place may not have been the best presented, but it was authentic, and the food was marvellous, proper home cooking!
We returned recently to Skiathos and were looking forward to going back.
Heartbroken - sadly Captain Michael passed away February last year (2021). Absolutely devastated that the place has just been left to go to rack and ruin.
RIP Michael, we miss you.
