★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike, the owner's dog is the star of the show at this bar. He takes it very easy, wandering over very slowly to say hello. Never barks, just shambles around. If you ignore him, he goes way but it you make a fuss of him, he loves it.
Anyway, a great place for a frosty beer and complimentary nibbles: crisps, watermelon chunks, etc.
2 large TVs for sports events.
Mike the dog sets the scene and determines the atmosphere: laid back and easy-going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic bar with friendly and excellent staff ... Mike the barman makes the best cocktails in area by a mile ( recommend the Greek lover ) .. this is a 5 star bar all day ... Alex and Mike were brilliant while we were here on holiday highly recommended.... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fab family run bar in Gouves, Crete. Always come here for a pre dinner drink when staying at The Island Hotel. Anni and Mike are brilliant hosts and Mike makes the most fantastic cocktails - my favourite a Greek Lover ? - delicious! Sadly, Bubbee has passed over the rainbow Bridge to doggy heaven. RIP Bubbee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendliest bar you could hope for. Family run by locals Mike and Anni who are amazing hosts. Good value drinks, ice cold Mythos on tap and the best cocktails in Crete. Ask Anni’s husband Stelios to do his Ron Jeremy / Ant Middleton / Jason Momoa impressions ?
