Marianna Studios - Machis Kritis Str

Maria and her family are very accommodating and helpful. Rooms are clean and the studios are well positioned between the beach and Malia strip. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Marianna was wonderful she and her husband was there all day to make sure you had everything nothing was to much, she would order pizza from her son's at the pit stop pizza which was really nice thanks for a great stay see you soon Steve and debs xx

I booked this place by a Swedish travel agency (Solfactor) and unfortunately, in addition to unreasonably high price (627 eur for a week post- season !!) there was totally wrong/misleading information about the accommodation on the site. The biggest problem was the misleading distances, 600 meter to the sea as promised - totally wrong! The property is located in the middle of the agricultural landscape, literally in the middle of nowhere. Even locals hardly know the place. It is ca 2,2-2,5 km to the sea and 1 km meters to the village center. Second problem was the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms and also lack of kitchen equipment. It was not even possible to warm a cup of water in the room ! The owner (Marianna) sharply dislikes of consuming own products outside the room and is willing to yell at her guests on this matter. The familiar attitude of the staff (Marianna) can be somehow disturbing. If you like to be dominated by her during your holiday and have no privacy at all, this is the place to go. She controls you from the moment you enter until the moment you leave. (F ex at my arrival, I had to explain several times WHY my transfer bus was late as if it was my fault. During my overnight stay in other cities, she mistreated me as if I was a teenager and promised even to contact the police - (because my overight stay at other destinstion) I am a single traveller 40 + (!!!) Positive points: the manager's husband was friendly, as well as the young bartender working in the evenings. Garden was well kept. Nice small refreshing pool. Breakfast ok (at extra cost). Nice wiews to the mountains. I would never have booked this accommodation if I had known those details in advance. It was a turnoff for the holiday. Hopefully this description will be helpful for others.

If i could give this place more stars i would. Loved every minute here. Friendly family run place. Nice and clean. Maria the owner is a fantastic host and her grandson Giannis who works behind the bar is a great young lad. I didn't want to leave. I will definatley be returning soon and the other guests we made friends with said the same in fact one of the couples have already booked again twice. Helen.

Just back from Marianna me and my friend were extremely happy of the way we were treated and looked after family were extremely helpful!! Always a great atmosphere for either family holiday or girls/boys holiday!!! 15 minute walk to strip easy to find!! Thank you for your hospitality!!

Had a great holiday. This is a small family run hotel. They really do take care of you. The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are a little basic, but serve the purpose they are intended for. Food was super, including the pizzas they order in from there families other business a couple of minutes up the road. This was a bargain holiday that surpassed all our expectations. It’s not the Ritz, but sometimes in life all the polished luxury of five star hotels can be beaten by dedication and hard work, that in this case Maria, her family and employees put in.

Great location between two beaches and Blue sea taverna with it's free sunbeds. Very welcoming with excellent staff and owners, rooms are a good size if a bit basic and are very clean. Food is great and drinks well priced, the pool is a big bonus being a good size with plenty of sunbeds and lots of room around the pool. Being in a quiet location the walk into the strip takes about 10 minutes but there are taverna's close by
