★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le restaurant dispose d une belle terrasse dominant une oasis d oliviers encaissée entre 2 parois et la mer. La salade de poulpe est succulente et l accueil familial très chaleureux. Un super moment!
 The restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking an oasis of olive trees between 2 walls and the sea. The octopus salad is delicious and the family welcome is very warm. A great time!

Piatto del giorno fisso con orata e spigola di allevamento da Creta , cucinata alla griglia in modo eccellente. Xigalo, formaggio freschissimo di pecora tipico di Creta, commovente.. se potrò tornerò
Magical place for both sleeping and eating. Not much choice but the view, the atmosphere, and the kindness do it all. Fixed dish of the day with sea bream and farmed sea bass from Crete, cooked on the grill in an excellent way. Xigalo, very fresh sheep cheese typical of Crete, moving .. if I can I will come back

After 2 hours drive from Iraklio airport my familiy was welcomed by the question if our children are always so loud only 5 minutes after our arrival. The hosts "guranteed us that there would be problems with other guests." So this was our warm welcome. This friendliness then contiuned. Although the area is very nice, I think children are not welcome. The live music on Saturday night (it is every Saturday) was very loud so that it was not possible to sleep before 2 in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At 150 meters from the beach of Maridatis is this good fish tavern, where a cheerful gentleman (Manoli) is waiting for you with a big smile. There's nice Greek music and it is atmospheric, with beautiful views of the sea.

Fresh fish is cheap and delicious.
Grilled octopus is very soft.
On saturdays owners give concerts with local bard music.
At night there are no lights on the beach, so you can enjoy the stars.
