First place where i probably visit again! (after about 15 countries and 30 hotels) Very clean small Hotel with VERY nice people! Nice apartments and good location.

The very minute we entered, I immediately felt welcome to this cozy little place. Where it might lack in some services, it compensates with a friendly staff and relaxed athmosphere. This is a place to come to unwind and recharge. The location beside the sea and hence the view over the Rethymno gulf towards the old town and the Fortezza was breathtaking. The apartments offer utilities for basic needs (wifi functions properly, cooking utilities, TV (was opened to check it worked, it did)), but what I was especially glad about was the excellent soundproofing of windows and balcony doors. As a light sleeper, this was a big bonus for me. The hotel has its own beach and offers beach chairs for an affordable fee. We found that unlike in many other places, chairs were always comfortably available and one could pretty much choose where to sit. Also a big bonus as hitting the beach and just lollygagging was our main objective. (If you are looking for more active watersports, there are plenty in Rethymnon). The beach might not be the place for the smallest kids, as the surge of the water was a points quite strong and the water deepened quite fast. Also, you need to cross the beach road to get there. Then again, this is true to all of Rethymnon and can't be avoided. All in all, this proved to be one of the best vacations in a long time. Something in Marilyn managed to grab a piece of my heart, and I have a feeling that we'll meet again ...

We had a 3rd floor apartment with the balcony/ seaview. The view just can not get better than this in all Rethymno. The location of the hotel gives you an unobstructed view to the beach to both directions including the amazing sunset. The service was impeccable. A place to stay and enjoy far above its official star rating. We will come back.

We booked an apartment here for 2 nights and when we got there we were offered another apartment in the building across the street because of a "problem with overbooking". The quality however was much lower than the one we booked on the platform (despite the staff there presenting it as an upgrade from our initial booking) so we had to cancel and search for another accomodation last minute. Really bad experience and a total lack of respect for their guests.

Cleanliness, sea view, staff friendliness, comfort… These are just a few things that made our quick two nights amazing. We had a last-minute change of plan and we’re hesitant to stay in a “2-star hotel” but we were EXTREMELY surprised by it. The WiFi was stable and reliable, the AC worked well, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was super friendly! About a 30 minutes walk to old town if you’re up for a walk.
