Nikos Livanios and his family are among the nicest persons i've met in my life not only because of their professionalism and competence but most importantly their decent character! My story getting acquainted with Nikos Livanios is an experience of a lifetime, starting back in 2002. I was returning with my family on a trip by my motorboat from Crete to Lavrion - Attica. I had to stop in Milos for refuelling, while it was weekend, banks were closed, the ATMS didn't work at that specific time and i was run out of cash, thus being unable to pay for the gasoline. I explained to Nikos my situation, i.e. it was imperative to continue my trip back to Lavrion as i should be at work on Monday. So, i suggested him to keep my ID paper and watch as collateral and pledged to deposit the money to his account upon my immediate return at work in two days. Nikos refused to keep anything from me, instead he said these words i'll never forget:"don't worry, get your gasoline, take my account number and if you wish, deposit the money, if not no problem at all!!!!" I think these words are more than enough to feature Nikos's personality! Since then our families are very close holding a best friendship and respect. Nikos's attitude at that time made me to visit Milos every year since 2002 eventually having been a "citizen" of this spectacular island. Livanios was the cause! Recommended unconditionally to all visitors of Milos: try to meet him and get acquainted with his personality and professionalism! You will become better yourself!!
